Lesnar Says Angle & Lashley Wouldn't Cut It In The UFC - Wrestling Forums

In a recent interview with the UK Sun, Brock Lesnar stated that TNA star Kurt Angle and former WWE star Bobby Lashley do not have what it takes to compete in the UFC. Lesnar said:

"I am here to represent amateur wrestling and not professional wrestling. Are there other pro wrestlers who can come into UFC like me? Absolutely not. They just don’t have the background that I do. Even top UFC fighters wish they had more wrestling experience in their ackground."

UFC's #1 heavyweight contender also talks about his first 2 UFC fights and previews his fight with Randy Couture next weekend:

“One thing's for sure, come November 15 I will have a lot of fun. I will be enjoying it. I am coming for the title and I am coming to win. But I will have fun doing it. I am at peace with my life, I may come across as cocky but I am excited and am doing all the right things. I can’t wait for everything to come together on fight night.”

Sounds to me like a WWE shoot from Lesnar. I think Angle can hold his own in this sport as well aas Lashley.

Bobby Lashley and Kurt both have wrestling experience. Kurt is an Olympic Gold Medalist. Brock is a crap competitor but he thinks he is god. He laid on Heath Herring the whole match and got beat by Mir like a minute into the match.

What is he talking about? He was a good amateur wrestler, but both Angle and Lashley were, too. Angle is an olympic gold medalist for christ sake. Bobby Lashley was a three time all american in college. Angles in a lower weight class, so Lesnar might have a leg-up there, but Bobby is just as big or bigger. I think that Bobby has a chance to really pumble him.

lashley was actually suspended from amateur wrestling 3 yrs cuz of steriod use
he has lost the step

angle
his neck would not make him able to fight in mma one backlash punch and is game over for angle

as said by kurt himslef on almost every interview. "I wreslted with a broken FREEEEKIN neck." brock cant say he is better than angle at wrestling because he won 2 gold freekin medals.

Is this guy fucking joking? Kurt Angle has a way longer and better amater history and background then Brock , Kurt an Angle are good friends why would he say that? Well honestly I think he is a douche for that , seems like he is trying to get a lil more attention from wrestling fans (wwe & tna ) Well fuck Brock for saying that , that's why he couldn't make it in the NFL.

Angle's neck issue's is all played out for Professional wrestling only now......His neck isn't really hurting him so he has a chance at Mma.

He's probably right about Lashley though.

Kurt angle has been training In the Style Of MMA for awhile now. Bobby Lashley has been Trianining for over a year . i think they can hold there own
