Lets take the The Social Lounge as an example.
If we had an active post count within that forum everyone would be just posting something like "Oi, what ya guyz doin?"
Thus that shouldn't really count towards a post but as just chit chat among other users.

I've been a member of many boards of the years, and Post count doesn't matter anyway. Actually I prefer the forums that don't keep track of it over the ones that do.
