Well, that gave me a headache...anyway, good staff regulate what should go on in a forum and what shouldn't. Members should take some responsibility in how far they take a certain argument, with that said, so should the mods. The mods and supermods should stop something if they think it's gone to far. All it takes is a little enforcement and once the members see it happening, they won't take it as far as maybe they have before. If I got your last sentence right...which I may have misinterpreted, but it was also for real feuds, not only jokes. Taking it away for the reason it was created is one of the most dumb ideas that this place has come up with. There may be other elements to it, but really?
That's like saying "Hey guys, I'm building a movie theater for you all to enjoy and relax in" "You guys can't talk about the movies that we show outside of the theater, I'm tearing this place down." A bit of an extreme situation, but you get an idea. I think as long as the talk doesn't go outside of the pit, it should stay no matter what goes on in there. Like I said, all it takes is a little enforcement and boom, something is running the way it should be. |

us mods cant do anything in the pit unless someone asks us to delete a thread in there. only the admin's could do stuff. our job is to watch the rest of the forum which is wat we do.

Yea, exactly, you watch the rest of the forum, so why care about the pit? You dont like people arguing and stuff, thats fine, then you should stay out of the pit.

In my own personal opinion, the pit was a big help in stopping flaming in the main forums. The forums used to be convered in flaming and bans were issued daily. Now that the pit is here, the flaming has stayed mainly in the pit. The pit along with the pwf has stopped a very large amount of flaming.
That being said, all of your opinions are being taken into account and the pit may possibly be brought back. The admins will be discussing it over the next few days and if the majority agree, then it will be reinstated in the pwf as a sub forum.
