Chris Hero, through his representative Shane Hagadorn, has announced the stipulation for the December 19th match with Eddie Kingston…"Chris is too busy dealing with the likes of new GHC Heavyweight Champion Takashi Sugiura, Kenta Kobashi, and Kensuke Sasaki to address this issue himself," said Shane Hagadorn. Necro Butcher and Gypsy Joe (who was scheduled to be in Butcher's corner tonight) will miss Ring of Honor Final Battle 2009 due to the weather conditions in the Northeast.

At least two times, where I thought I was watching TNA!. Shame. So as I did get to see it, not the whole thing. Still matches I could really careless to see. Then added a match in ROH that did not really belong to have a match (if you want to call it that) in Ring of Honor ring.

I missed some matches. One was Hero vs Kingston. Which, I really could not care for anything of this match or fued. And have no idea on why Kingston wants to portay as being Hero. Hero loses, and where does this go on? Will the fued to continue? Or is Kingston now going to start to act like Hero?

CC won the 6 man, which is cool but also missed this match. No input. So, leave as that.

The Briscoes Brother win the ROH tag belt for the 6th time. Kinda of a shocker, but not so much, because there does seem to be a logic to it. And I believe that Davey will may get a single's push, or just work more on DG and his wrestling promotion. Then out of nowhere, what to we see? KINGS OF WRESTLING!!!! WOW!. Who really thought, Kings of Wrestling were to step together again and team up? With well be having a go on fued with Briscoes and of course WIN Edwards leaves off, I don't know. Sad to see.

So, a dely happen where some didn't get to show. Yet another match I could careless; didn't even bother to watch it. I don't know who won. Kozlov vs Rocky. I think I can hint alittle about how it was. Still, could careless to even know. I really wondn't bother to watch it even if a DVD were giving to me.

Also Necro didn't make it make it. PLUS!!!! And should just stay at CZW and never step in a ROH ring.

Kenny vs Strong. Going on with this build up of what Kenny did to Lynn and Strong going to get back for what they did. Strong really didn't pay off. The match was ok. Really could have expect more from the two. No input.

Young Bucks won. Cool. Didn't watch this match. Heard what happen at the end. Which to me also makes since in why Kings of Wrestling are back. One team brakes up, another one forms in. Is Tag team not where it's at these days?

Then later on to the show. We have two show ups. Guess who? Teddy. Teddy? you say? Yes, Teddy actaully showed up along with who? That's right! Jack Evans. And what does Evan start to do? For those that know, got it right. Started break dancing. TNA! TNA! TNA!. Realllllly. Why in the hell gives these two a match? And in ROH? Did we not learn from what happened last time? Of course this was no wrestling match. But a SPOT MATCH. Geez. What a nice way to get over on ROH. What is this way to show off ROH? Even if those that have never watched. We don't want those to know that, that is wrestling. Because it isn't. Where your only main focus is spot moves. No other kids can't sit through a Orton match. Let's not take them back in history to when Ric and Race went at it. Take the joy of two putting on a wrestling match with story and psychology.

What else happen on the card? Well, there is the main event. That went on for way to long then it should. About little in half the match it got really boring. And the crowd was dead. Not much to say about the match really. It was boring. And I believe it went for a hour to a draw.

(Orton vs Cena 60 minute was better) It really wasn't the match it self, well kinda yeah. But most times, it was Black chasing Aries, or Aries trying to get himself DQ. The match was just UGH. Didn't watch all of it.

Also I would like to add is the fact that for many have known how long Black as been pushed to be champ. Take it now or not. Get ready more pushing on this guy to get the belt and be future of ROH.

Don't really want to give this a rating. But it also didn't delivered or could to those that have never watched ROH before. Not really any build ups. So, it could or would be hard to follow. Random matches. It really was a miss or just being put up as it was going along.

This is what I saw of it:


Kyle’s thoughts: It started very tedious and slow. But once El Generico got the hot tag, it got very flashy with a bunch of fireworks with not lot of storytelling. They tried convincing me with the vintage ROH nearfalls, but something did not really click with me. Maybe because I have seen these types of tag matches before, or maybe I just prefer the old school style more, but I loathe feeling of “who is the legal man” feeling when I watch a tag match. This lacked storytelling and direction. However, the moves were pretty innovative, so I will give credit there, but this felt uninspiring for a Steenerico match. The crowd loved it though. **


Kyle’s thoughts: Wow, this didn’t work. I thought this could have had a chance of being decent, but this feel hard on its face. The match felt like both men were on auto pilot, and they were just going through the motions. No real emotion or thrill in the match—it felt very dry. The crowd was really dead for the match, and it felt more like a popcorn match than anything. * ¾

Kyle’s thoughts: Well that sucks that we didn’t get the full effect of this match, but at least they tried to make the best out of it. The crowd was obnoxious and annoying. They were chanting Fuck Cena, which is pretty rude to the wrestlers in the ring because the fans are so “obsessed” with being “cool” that they don’t even realized they are taking a crap on the match. Anyways, the match was good in a technically sound way, but much like this show—it was lacking something.


Kyle’s thoughts: With the entire booking flaws aside, like the lack of application of the rules and still trying to get the crowd into the match with lot of near-falls, this was a good effort by both teams. They did some cool, pioneering combination and double team moves. Good effort, overall. ** ¾

Kyle’s thoughts: Well if you like flip and flopping matches with some sick moves by two highly athletic men—this is for you; however, if you like matches with the elements of how wrestling ought to be like: properly selling moves, psychology, storytelling etc.—this match might now be for you. Since I do not drink haterade, I will say that this was a damn fine match for the time it was given. I have seen these dudes in the past, and they actually have some good chemistry together, which I guess proves sometimes people can match up together and bring the very best out of their abilities.


Kyle’s thoughts: The first half of the match was lifeless. It had nothing going for in its favor, it was very amateur worked, and had too much strutting going on. Aries worked over the knee for a while, but Black ended up doing his routine offense anyway. They did finally start to get out of first gear as they went on with some good back and fourth action. They then started using the count-out, and kept wandering around and Aries kept leaving the match—then Black would go get him, again,again,again,again and yet again. It was almost as if they did not know to work with all this times, so they tried to bring out the bag-of-tricks to hide their long term wrestling ability. It just did not work—and I simply did not care for it. ** ¼


Overall: It was a very lifeless show.

Finally watched both parts on Gofightlive.tv. Overall besides the Audio problems I thought it was a pretty decent show. Glad to see Larry Sweeney back but WTF did they give the best talker out of Larry Sweeney, Prazak and Eric Santamaria or WTF his name is, they gave Sweeney a mic which didn't come across as good. Anyway so overall Audio=NOT GOOD.

-The fatal 4 way was a good open to the show. Cabana and Omega worked good together. Titus and Claudio were ok. Anyway match got the crowd into the show.

-Delirious/Bobby Dempsey vs Bison Smith/Erick Stevens, not much to say here it was better than I thought it would be but still eh.

-Eddie Kingston vs Chris Hero was an entertaing match but a couple problems ruin this from possibly being MOTN for me. They went for the spot on the Piledriver on the Railing and Hero should have won the match there but no Kingston somehow kicked out and they went on to draw the match out longer imo and when the finish happened it was just eh because they couldn't capture the same amount of momentum as the Piledriver. Anyway still good match even for two guys that just hate each other they both went out and deliver pretty good.

-I thought Young Bucks vs Steenerico was MOTN. The Young Bucks remind me more of The Rockers than The Hardys. They had some pretty nice innovated tag moves. Glad to see YBs get the win and go over. The Steen's promo was pretty good at the end and with a devistating Chair Shot to El Generico.

Anyway had intermission with CM Punk vs Spanky good idea for the people on Gofightlive to show them during intermission.

Back we have Kenny King vs Roderick Strong. This was were the crowd just completly started to ruin this PPV they were DEAD for this match. Was a good solid match to bring people back from intermission but like I said the crowd just wasn't doing anything for it.

Then we had Alex Koslov vs Rocky Romero. Can't really say much about this match because the ending was like WTF??? No explanation at all, after Romero hit a flying armbar? then they just called the match and even the Ref looked like he didn't know what was going on. Anyway Koslov was pretty entertaining but the ending was .....UGH.

Then came time for the world tag team title match between the Briscoes and American Wolves. Pretty entertaining except ROH over does the hot tags too much so they don't have the same feeling, and that goes for most of their tag matches. Anyway I didn't really like the Finish but The Briscoes won for this Briscoes Mark Then Kings of Wrestling got back together and took out the Briscoes.

Then we had a little improptu match between Jack Evans vs Teddy Hart. Not really a wrestling match just them going out one after another hitting spot after spot. For what it was it was pretty fun. Nothing more or less.

Then time for the Main Event, for the ROH World Title Austin Aries vs Tyler Black. Crowd pretty much shitted on this match way before it began. I mean I joke around about Black but I try not to shit on him and thats what this crowd did and it just showd how bad this crowd was. Anyway as for the match, it was a bit dragged out to fit the 60 minute time limit. I thought they told a pretty good story of Aries trying to get out of the match, leaving the ring and Black going after him. Anyway like Adam said the draw will set up a rematch. Booking wise it would have been better for Black to go over after all this. Anyway solid match up crowd killed it before it started..I think someone threw in a Twinkie into the ring.

Good first show on Gofightlive I just think they need to fix the commentary and audio problems and also Prazak needs to be HEEL Prazak. And get another headset the mic just didn't come off good at all.
