I like the idea but we need to find a way to keep it from being just another insult forum.

i'm talking about to decide who won the debate and make sure it doesn't turn into insults

Out-debating people is the best, because it makes them look stupid. It's like how I do things in PWF, I outsmart them.

With a debate thread, I will thoroughly enjoy testing my debating skills against others.

My suggestion is this, if there is any bashing in a debate "match" or whatever one calls it, then give them a day ban, and continue it from there. Or just hold every debate in the Pit, so even if insults come out, well, who cares?

People will only insult when they know when their debating is going bad.

Ok before we make this where should it be? In the pit in case someone feels the need to flame. Or should we trust everyone can have an intelligant conversation without bashing right here in the social lounge?
