ok. so if you had a wife ,a mortgage, plane fees, ground transportation, child fees (clothes food),heat, electricty, water, hotel fees, food for yourself and you made 600 dollars a match how are you supposed to pay for all that and insurance. Tna takes care of some of that so that they have time to do that.

It's called GET A REAL JOB to support your family.

Look I hate real jobs as much as the rest of you, that's one of the reasons why I work in Motorsports. But when/if The time comes that I can not support myself or my family I am smart enough to know that I'll have to buckle down stop doing what I love and get a regular "9-5" job.

Sure, TNA wrestlers may get paid for all flights and stuff. But they don't travel NEARLY as much as WWE guys do, and they get PAID alot less then WWE guys do. So the least they can do is pay for flights and cars. It still doesn't add up to WWE wrestlers' salaries. At least that's how it seems.

Wrestling is just a job like everybody else. With WWE, it's different. It's not like a 10 to 5 job. They are on the road. Dead tired the next day. And to WWE, because TNA I don't know if they do the same. They are dead tired the next day, and Vince makes that "wrestler" wrestle 3 days out of the week. No break. It's tiring to be on the road, all day, then to wrestle. It's not like he can go home, and relax. Sure, that is what he wants to do. Yes, but us the fans expect that "wrestler" to be the same has he saw him on Monday. So, say Matt Hardy. Matt does a match on Monday. Then he does a match for ECW. Then maybe SD! is having a house show the same day. That would mean, he would have his match. Then get on a plane, fly somewhere across America. Since he had his match, and from traveling. Don't you think, he would be tired? If he went to a house show, we would want to be "Matt". We would want a good, exciting match from him. And with the money, you would expect them, to make alot. Yes they do make more then us. But, they have to rent a hotel, rent a car. Get some food. Now, they also have to pay their house. And some send their kids to privet school, or maybe home school. More money. If injured, they would have to be seeing a doctor. Now, how much is it to see a doctor? And maybe just a check up. There goes more money. Just like every wrestling fan. Wants to be a wrestler. Some make it, some don't. Now if you were a good wrestler, and you had to wake up, (now I saw this.) Make up a 5 in the morning, when maybe you only got about 3 hours of sleep. Right after, you get something to eat. And you have a match, so you do some exercise. Hours pass, you do what you need to do. Then, again you exercise. Hours pass, you have to eat again. Keep doing that, then it's your match. Now, before you wrestle. You do more exercise, and your stretching. Could you do that, 3 days in a row? Your body would be aching. That is why some wrestlers, take pain killers. Because, pain killers take the pain away. Sad to say, some do get hooked. Which I would really hate to hear. Because what, them wrestlers do day to day, week to week. And entertains us, the best they can. Hiding the fact that, they are in pain. Just to give the "fans" their moneys worth. And I know something, it doesn't seem so. So, I would like wrestlers, to get what they need. Just so, they can keep doing what they love to do, and that is wrestling and entertaining the fans.

No it's not. It's not a 40some hour a week $10 an hour job. Look you go to a training school or were looking at it or something (I remember from an older thread) well if wrestling were like a real job your training would be 100% because the company you were wrestling for you provide you with the training needed. But it's not, you need to pay for probaly 100% of your training. Why? Because wrestling is a skill/craft not a job. Yes it is the means of income for many many people, but so is selling meth, that doesn't mean it's a job.

You are right as far as the fans expecting a certain thing, but guess what that's not Vinces problem and that is not Matts problem, that is the Fans problem.

As far as the hotel and flights and rental cars, I've seen just as many things saying WWE takes care of it all as I have seen saying they don't. I've heard wrestlers say they (WWE) take care of it, I've heard others say they don't. So the truth is unknown and is probaly different for each person.

As far as the hotel thing though, you know what nobody is forcing them to stay in the fancy hotel. If you are in the position where you need to save money, you know what man up and stay in a run down hotel that cost $30 a night instead of a 5-star Hilton that costs $250 a night.

As far as the rental cars, They should have to pay that IMO. I know many people who have to travel for their job, and they all have to pay for their own rental car.

You mention food. Salad, Steak, Pasta = $15 depending on where you get it, and it has everything you need, vegetables, protein and carbs.

If they get injured well then they should have their own private health insurance. It's not that hard to get and it's not that expensive.

You mention their houses. Now I know there are a lot of wrestlers who have just regular 2 bedroom 1.5 bath small regular houses. But then there are also the ones who have Houses that are not only way beyond their budget, but way beyond the needs of anybody who is only home for 100 days a year if necessary.

As far as the whole exercise routine stuff, once again I state that people know that before getting in, and they choose to get in fully knowing that. I get up each morning and exercise daily myself, why? Because I need to for my job, and I need to to keep myself in shape. Yeah there are some days that I don't feel like doing it, but guess what I do because its a little thing call self determination. And once again I state that if they don't like it they are free to leave and get a real regular job.

And you mention the fans again and how the wrestlers do this so much to entertain the fans. Well the truth is the wrestlers are not in the shape they are in because they wrestle they are in the shape they are in because of the greediness of the majority of the fans. The fans across the world want to see wrestling every day whether live or on tv. They fail to realize that if they would only demand it one time a week the overall product would be better.

WWE tours an insane amount because the fans want to see it, not because they feel like it. If the fans would realize one day a week is enough then WWE would not have to tour as much, the wrestlers would not have as much wear on themselves, and the product would thus be better. If the fans stop showing up to the house shows and tv tapings then WWE will start doing less of them. So you see it's not really the promoter that is the problem it is the greediness of the so called fans that is causing this.

I think, we just agreed on everything there. Because from what I read, is somewhat the same thing. Now see, you said that people WWE does, and WWE don't. I heard that WWE doesn't pay. So, maybe some do maybe they don't. Now as for hotels. Wrestlers share a room. I know, that most of the time, it's like 5 people a room, and they all pitch in. I also read, that wrestlers drive together all over. So save has much money. Some wrestlers, are smart about it, and some just like to spend all the money that they get. The day wrestling only shows one day a week, is when i think you did say, that, wrestling will go down fall. As I say many times, I respect every wrestler, because we know how much they are on the road, and have to wrestle. That which we would want Undertaker, be the Taker' that he is. And goes on for the wrestlers. I never did say it's a 40 hour week. I say that, wrestlers work like Monday, Thue, Wends,Thurs, Fri, and weekends, and next week would be different. I don't know how WWE does it, when it's clock, or if they just make money, by doing a match. When it starts to end.
