What if Vince bought out TNA???

So what if Vince McMahon did the unthinkable and bought out TNA Wrestling???

Which current TNA wrestlers would survive in the WWE and what would be some really good feuds that could come of it?? Would Vince keep the X-Division concept and and start to push the cruiserweights more?? What current TNA stars could be main even players in the WWE and which ones would be doomed to the mid card?? Which, if any former WWE talent would still have a job after the merger other than obviously Kurt Angle??

In my opinion, the WWE would get a hell of a lot better if they had some of the talent that TNA currently has. I do think that Vince would use the X-Division concept for a little while before ultimately getting rid of it as Vince isn't really too keen on pushing the smaller guys unless they show exceptionable ablities (Evan Bourne/Rey Mysterio).

The tag-team division in the WWE is what would benefit from this more than anything else. The Dudley Boys would be back. The Motor City Machine Guns would be hugely over as they are both very talented. Beer Money would be a great addition into the WWE's tag division, that is until they break apart so that Robert Roode can make his way towards the main event. You also have LAX and The British Invasion then all of a sudden the WWE tag division is worth mentioning again.

As far as which current TNA stars could main event in the WWE:

Kurt Angle - The reasons are obvious
Robert Roode - Very good in the ring and on the mic, has the look of a champion.
Matt Morgan - Could be a great addition to the main event as he's very talented and has
the size and look that Vince likes (just no stuttering gimmicks please)
AJ Styles - Not even Vince would be able to deny this man's abilities.
Abyss - The WWE needs a newer big man that is a good worker and Abyss would fit the
    mold.
Kaz - Also very talented and puts on amazing matches
James Storm - Might take a while but eventually Storm would be in the main event.
Sting - would obviously be in the main event for his short stay in the WWE
Lashley - if he doesn't go MMA full time

The ones who are doomed to the mid-card.

Samoa Joe - Decent worker but not good enough for the main event IMO
Jay Lethal - Very good worker but would be doomed due to his size as he's no AJ Styles
Christopher Daniels - same as Lethal

pretty much everyone else would be given their pink slip with the exception of a few of the knockouts.

As for the ex wwe guys that may be welcomed back. The ONLY ones that Vince would even bother with are Angle, Morgan, Booker T, 3D, Lashley, & Mick Foley....everyone else would be hitting the door.

    Thoughts??

Then I would get to see The Guns vs. The Hart Dynasty and AJ Styles vs. CM Punk and Sting vs. HBK in what would end up being the greatest night in wrestling history. If he did buy TNA Raw would immediately get better and ECW would get a second hour and the cruiserweight division. I agree the tag team division would be so much better. It could happen and I wouldn't be shocked if it did. Its bad for the industry though if TNA does get sold. Nash would definitely be back if wanted to do it and I think Jeff Jarrett would also be welcomed back in some capacity if he so desired. Is it selfish that I want that to happen just so the roster for Svr 2011 is unbelievable? If used correctly, there are a number of guys from TNA that could take jobs away from a number of the midcard guys in the WWE right now. Assuming Kurt Angle leaves wrestling, AJ Styles is the only sure thing main event guy WWE would be getting long term though.

first off some of these guys wouldnt work for wwe they would go to ROH or Japan or AAA, they would be aj, daniels, lax, maybe jay, the rest would probably come to wwe somoa joe would be a good main eventer, stings retiring, but the rest would come probably get stuck with stupid gimmicks, or not used to their full potential, the only ones that would make it in the main event scene would be kurt, booker, maybe morgan, but they could use their tag teams mcmg would work as well as the british invasion/world elite

I think something most fail to realize is that TNA was built around the concept that you didn't need to have a particular "look" about you in order to to be a main event material. While this notion has been greatly challenged, it has slowly begun trickling itself back in. We now have the world elite who while not exactly main eventers right now, are in the upper tier. Hernandez, Joe and AJ looks to be on his way back to the main event as well.

^^^ This is true. The thing is though is that, even though they don't have the 'special' look, they still fit into the main event scene quite comfortably. And I think that they would fit into the WWE main event picture also.

if vince was to buy out TNA then i dont think we would see alot of those stars come over but only a few... I think we would only see beer money, motorcity machineguns, AJ Styles, Samoa Joe and maybe Daniels and LAX... I dont think anyone else in TNA would do too well in the WWE
With Jeff Hardy gone I think everybody should have a classic aufman post cos we wont see them again for a while

And that would be enough for me. In fact that would be down right kickass. Even if they signed a few other guys to developmental deals maybe someone else could sneak through.

that is actually who i would want, with the addition of 4 people: Kurt Angle, just to have him back for a year or 2 before he retires. Matt Morgan, sure his first run in WWE is forgettable, but I think he has improved a lot since he has been with TNA. Bobby Lashley, only if he committed fully to WWE though. And Sting, just to give him one good run in WWE with his last match being aginst either HBK or Undertaker at Wrestlemania.

I like this idea. Matt Morgan I agree with 100% as well because he is one of those guys that needed experience more than anything. He is still working on things but he has definitely gotten better in TNA and worked with some great talent in the process. I thought those matches with AJ were all really good. Sting vs. HBK or Taker is a Mania dream match that I wish we would have gotten to see. All three of those guys can still work so what is to say it doesn't happen after Sting walks away from TNA. Its the only thing he hasn't done if you ask me, and I am sure it would be one of the most popular main events in Mania history. Angle would be totally up to him and I am not sure how he feels about coming back or staying in wrestling. The guy certainly has feuds though in WWE with Jericho and possibly Bryan Danielson that would be incredible. Lashley I think only comes back if he fails to have MMA success and the way things are looking he is going pretty strong. I am Lashley fan but WWE isn't going to let him keep that schedule.

And let it be known that I do want to see Kevin Nash back for a run with HBK even if it is only for a month or two. Nash can do it for that short a period of time and its just something I want to see. Vince has already said he is more than happy to have him back so if it happens within the next two years its insanely possible.

Most of the TNA guys would be shit in WWE.

AJ would be like Evan Borune sadly, get a nice push when he first comes in, but then is doomed to jobbing and a mid carder.

Kurt Angle would be just like he was when he left, but I think Vince/management would make him gain some weight (muscle), like around 40 pounds.

Samoa Joe might be a main eventer, they might make him lose weight though.

Sting will be huge, and I'll get to see Sting vs Taker and Sting vs HBK.

The rest will be shit honestly, well Robert Roode they might do something with, like make him a singles star and eventually be a main eventer like they did with JBL.
New England Patriots, try again next season boys.
