No, I don't mean getting rid of the name. When is Christian going to lose his title and who will/should he lose it to? I'm thinking he's going to get drafted to SD! this year but idk if they'll pull a Bobby Lashley with him and make him relinquish the belt. I think he'll have lost it before then, I just can't decide who.

He should never lose the belt....his title reign has been awesome thus far and i have no doubt that Christian is very capable of having a year long title run or so. The ONLY way he should lose it is to get drafted and be forced to relinquish the belt.

Yes, even though he is a good ECW champion but I think it's time for a new champion to see what somebody else can do or as somebody be champ for whatever comes 'next'. Bobby Lashley? NO! NO! NO!!!!

I don't really know who should be the next champion. I do think it should go to somebody that will be a new face of what this new wrestling show is.

Why would there be a new champion though? In 3 weeks ECW is gone and that means Christian walks away the last ECW Champion in history, which I am completely happy about. We don't even know if the new show will have a title, which I hope it will, but they will have to crown a new champion. Would be a great way for a Danielson or Kaval to debut or a great way for a guy like Carlito or Evan Bourne to become relevant. There is no one on the current ECW roster that even deserves to beat Christian right now. So my guess is that they will have some kind of tournament when the new title is introduced and Christian gets cheated or something along those lines. That way he can enter MITB and be free to get drafted to SD the next day.

The next champion really depends on what they do with the rebranding of ECW. I would guess they are going to mix the roster up or even bring up a handful of FCW guys possibly. My guess would be that the next champion is not someone currently on the ECW roster. Assuming of course that Christian isn't keeping that title.

Personally I wouldn't just say that as before it was shown that a few took Christian to a level where he could have been beaten. The way Christian did in some way wrote off Yoshi (Don't know what happen) But he is one that could be pushed to beat Christian. Regal is another one. Then Zack. That had good and close to beating Christian. I can see where you get that at as right now, nobody now seems to fit that role. But, I wouldn't say "deserves".

My hope the WWE implements a new title that would go along with this WWE NXT. I would call it the NXT Television Title. If the brand is going to feature new faces (FCW, Indys), same old faces (change of scenery aka brands), and faces who were altered (TNA ROH), and then a TV title will fit its billing as these stars fight to become the best in television. A title that should be defended every week like the old school TV titles of WCW.

As posters above said, Christian as the last champion of ECW is great. Sucks that they can't put the belt on Zack Ryder who got the honor of ending Tommy Dreamer's ECW career and who claims to be the heart and soul of ECW, and its destruction (opps, he can't get that cuz that award goes to Paul Heyman in 2001 for making a company that financially failed).

Who should Christian lose the Belt to? Zack Ryder. Plain and simple, I think he is very deserving and would make a great ECW (Whatever they will be calling it) champ.

Yeah Chrisitan is indeed the last ECW which is a very honorable thing to say and quite an amazing achievement. Now as far as the ECW(whatever) title is concerned, if Christian brings that title into this new brand, not only will he be the last ECW champion but quite possibly the first champion of that brand. So basically that's a 2 in 1 right there. As far as who's gonna take over once Christian's title reign is done, I would say either Regal, Zack Ryder, or chances are it could end up being a new face that's not on ECW but on RAW or SD!(If it's so please be CARLITO!!!! ) But yeah that's just what I think.

When I say "deserves" I am talking about the way guys have been booked. I actually would like to see either of Yoshi or Ryder be champion but I don't think either of them have been booked to be able to do that even if they have taken Christian to the limit. Ryder just got beat cleanly last night so it would be really hard to say he has a legit shot. Regal isn't even wrestling as much as he is a corner man for Zeke. So while Regal would normally be the most likely suspect, he is currently not being booked that way. Shelton is feuding with Archer so he is out. Yoshi continues to get pushed but beating rookie guys like Trent Barretta, really good match btw, doesn't exactly sky rocket him into number one contendership. I just don't see it unless someone new arrives on the scene which is what they should do imo.
